Challenge for Week April 17th - April 23rd
You can check your credit report truly for free three times each year using annualcreditreport.com, the official website the credit reporting agency use to comply with Federal law. Your report will give you a snapshot of how you manage debt and will provide you with the information used to calculate your credit score.
Although you the law gives you just one free report each year, by only downloading one agency report at a time you can spread your free credit reports out to give you one every four months. You'll have the option to download one or all of the credit reports from the three agencies. Make sure only the TransUnion box is checked to save the Experian and Equifax reports for later in the year.
