The Purposeful Finance Challenge is a free financial planning challenge designed to help individuals build their own comprehensive financial plan and move toward financial independence. The Challenge is designed to help people transition from financial education to financial action.
Each week participants get an e-mail with a new Challenge task designed to move them one step closer to achieving their financial goals. Each Challenge is designed to be accomplished in about 15 minutes and addresses a fundamental financial planning need.
Financial Education & Advocacy Articles
Purposeful Finance writes articles to provide education on personal finance topics without hidden sales agendas. Advocacy articles are designed to help consumers advocate for themselves with the financial services industry and to encourage a fiduciary standard for all financial advice. For example: after the massive Equifax data breach, Purposeful Finance published step by step directions on how to opt out of the Equifax arbitration clause.
It’s not the responsibility of others to tell me how I can help society become a better society. It’s my responsibility to identify the actions I can take, no matter how small, to move society in the direction of justice.
